YOUR 3 EINS – AN IMPORTANT PART OF PRIVATE BANKING
The 3 EINs are:
ESTATE - online
PRIV ATE BANKER – online 
FOREIGN GRANTOR TRUST – fax or mail
There are a lot of people who can explain to you what the importance of the EINs, etc are when you're operating 
in the private. For the purposes of this manual, I want to focus on the HOW rather than the WHY .
If you've come this far, you should already now WHY . It's the HOW that has most people stumped.
In fact, for years, I knew we needed to have a “98” number but as you are well aware, you have to pay for every 
little piece of the puzzle and the “gurus” usually charge high dollars and then when you get the forms there's no 
clarity and if you have questions, they either treat you poorly or disappear completely.
On the following pages, you will see the exact screens that are on the IRS, and what to fill out online followed 
by the exact forms and what you need to do to get your Foreign Grantor Trust EIN.
If you're ready, you'll need to choose a browser on your computer and go to this URL:
https://sa.www4.irs.gov/modiein/individual/index.jsp
You can also use the search term: “irs ein application” to take you to the site where you will start to apply for 
your EINs.
You can also do all of this via fax or mail, however, online is faster.
Make sure to save the document that will be shown via a link when you're finished with each of these EINs.
You can only get one EIN per day per person. If there are more than one person in your family, you can each get 
one EIN per day. You can get this done pretty quick and it's not that difficult.
I would suggest you use the SS4 form and FAX in your form for the Foreign Grantor Trust with a cover sheet 
that says: Please process immediately, thank you.
The FAX number is 855-215-1627.
Some people call the IRS for their Foreign Grantor Trust but it is becoming increasingly difficult to get them to 
stop being mean and nasty to you when you're on the phone. If you choose to call, hang up if you get nervous or 
need to work with a different agent. Whatever you do, don't get nasty back to them!

You will repeat the same exact screens online until you come to the Step 8. You will fill it in like this:

It's not as difficult as the gurus pretend it is. Just follow the form below and replace the information with your 
own information. In order to get a “foreign address,” you can use your browser and do a search for “random 
address” from a NON-HAGUE country. CANADA IS NOT A NON-HAGUE COUNTRY! Look up the most 
current list and you'll see a county that is listed there. Choose the random address that you want and fill in the 
form.
